Low Voltage Security Technician - Loveland, CO

What we're looking for

  • Experience:

    • 2+ years in low-voltage security or AV systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience with commercial fire systems and NICET certification is a plus.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

    • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and think critically to resolve issues.

  • Willingness to Learn:

    • Open to training and growing into a more specialized role.

  • Physical Capability:

    • Able to lift up to 75 lbs, work at heights, and perform tasks in various weather conditions.

  • Valid Driver’s License:

    • Clean driving record and background check required.

  • Customer Service:

    • A customer-first approach with excellent communication skills.

  • Technically Inclined:

    • Comfortable reading blueprints and schematics; familiarity with systems like Alula, Honeywell, ELK, and Telguard are a plus.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Install and service a range of security and low-voltage systems, including intrusion/burglar alarms (wired and wireless), CCTV surveillance (IP & analog), card access control, and central vacuum systems.

  • Install fiber optics, Cat6 communications cabling, and ensure the functionality of all systems.

  • Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of systems as needed.

  • Work at residential and light commercial job sites across Loveland, CO.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, and ensure client confidentiality and security at all times.

 

Schedule and Pay

  • Pay

  • $22.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience and job completion).

  • Schedule

    Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts (weekend availability is a plus).

  • Full-time & Part-time options available.
